As a licensed acupuncturist, Ivy Kwielford treats patients with a wide variety of problems. She helps people with all types of pain including back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, arthritis, joints and headaches. Ivy also works with stress relief, anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive issues and the negative side-effects of chemotherapy.

 

Acupuncture can be used for any imbalance in the body. The idea is to not only correct any symptoms and pain, but to heal the whole body by getting to the root of the problem. Ivy has extensive experience in treating lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, and hip and knee pain.

 

In addition to acupuncture, Ivy offers modalities such as cupping and tuina or vigorous Chinese massage. These therapies are done during or after acupuncture treatments to continue to resolve an issue. Ivy also recommends herbal medicine and provides nutritional guidance to her patients to further correct a problem.

Ivy takes time to listen to each patient. She believes in being thorough to provide the best treatments she can. Her patients feel relief fairly quickly. Having previously been a personal trainer, Ivy can also advise on therapeutic exercises and routines.
